Russell Hornsby joins Danielle Deadwyler and Okwui Okpokwasili in Blumhouse & Universal’s ‘The Woman In The Yard’

Deadline reports that Russell Hornsby has been added to Jaume Collet-Serra’s The Woman in the Yard at Blumhouse/Universal, joining Danielle Deadwyler and Okwui Okpokwasili

Currently seen in Starz's BMF series, Hornsby recently wrapped a leading role in the upcoming Searchlight film The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat, opposite Aunjanue Ellis and Sanaa Lathan.

The Woman in the Yard is written by Sam Stefanak. Jason Blum and Stephanie Allain are producers on the film. Collet-Serra, Deadwyler, Gabrielle Ebron, Scott Greenberg and James Moran are EPs. Haley Pigman and Jungyoon Kim are the executives covering the film for Blumhouse.

Hornsby's TV credits also include the Hulu limited series Mikewhere he played the infamous Don King; Netflix’s Seven Seconds; and Showtime’s The Affair.
