Exclusive: A Lot Of Nothing cast interviews with director Mo McRae, Y’Ian Noel, Cleopatra Coleman, Lex Scott Davis, & Shamier Anderson

Currently in Theaters and VOD is A Lot Of Nothing, the Directorial debut of Mo McRae (Producer & Director of CBS's hit new show EAST NEW YORK, actor, The Flight Attendant, Sons of Anarchy). Executive produced by two-time Emmy and Golden Globe nominee David Oyelowo, the suspenseful satirical thriller stars Y’Ian Noel (Insecure), Cleopatra Coleman (Infinity Pool), Lex Scott Davis (Rebel) Shamier Anderson (Invasion) & Justin Hartley (This Is Us).

James (Noel) and Vanessa (Coleman) seem to be the perfect couple - happily married, successful, and comfortable. One night, their lives are rocked to the core when, after watching a tragedy play out on the evening news, they realize their neighbor (Hartley) was involved. In a state of shock, and with opposing viewpoints on how to address the issue, they embark on a highly combustible journey to ‘do something’ about it.

Written by Mo McRae & Sarah Kelly Kaplan (Perry Mason), the film was produced by Mo McRae, Scalable Content, Secret Society Films, Traction and Anonymous Content with Inny Clemons (Next Day Air), Jason Tamasco (Deadtectives), DeAnna Gravillis (Venus as a Boy) and Zak Kristofek (Red Right Hand).

McRae is best known his acting roles in The Flight Attendant, Big Little Lies, Sons of Anarchy, and The First Purge, in which his wife Lex Scott Davis and Y’lan Noel also appeared in.

Blackfilmandtv.com’s Wilson Morales spoke with Mo McRae about his feature length directorial debut and with cast Y’Ian Noel, Cleopatra Coleman, Lex Scott Davis, & Shamier Anderson about working with him.
