Exclusive: Adam Sandler On Bringing An All-Star Cast To ‘Hubie Halloween’
Coming to Netflix on Oct. 7 is ‘Hubie Halloween,’ a hilarious family film starring Adam Sandler as an unlikely hero with an all-star cast including Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Rob Schneider, June Squibb, Kenan Thompson, Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Chiklis, Tim Meadows, Karan Brar, George Wallace, Noah Schnapp, Paris Berelc, China Anne McClain, Ben Stiller with Steve Buscemi and Maya Rudolph.
Steven Brill directed the film from a script written by Tim Herlihy and Sandler.
Hubie Dubois (Adam Sandler) thanklessly spends every Halloween making sure the residents of his hometown, Salem, celebrate safely and play by the rules. But this year, an escaped criminal and a mysterious new neighbor have Hubie on high alert. When people start disappearing, it’s up to Hubie to convince the police (Kevin James, Kenan Thompson) and townsfolk that the monsters are real, and only he can stop them.
For Sandler, after appearing in the critically acclaimed Uncut Gems, he’s back to making people laugh with this family filled adventure. It only gets better when he’s able to bring some of his former Saturday Night Live cast mates and other talent to share their talent in this joyous occasion. Sandler recently spoke with BlackFilmandTV.com’s Wilson Morales about doing this film, and bring along as many talent as he could.
