Exclusive: Director Eli Roth talks horror slasher film ‘Thanksgiving’

Hitting theaters on Nov. 17 from Sony Pictures is the horror slasher film Thanksgiving, directed by Eli Roth and starring Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Milo Manheim, Nell Verlaque, Gina Gershon, Tim Dillon, and Rick Hoffman.

Based on the original trailer created for Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez's Grindhouse (2007). A serial killer comes to a small town in Massachusetts with the intention of creating a Thanksgiving carving board out of the town's inhabitants. 

Written by Jeff Rendell and Eli Roth, the film was produced by Roger Birnbaum, Jeff Rendell, and Eli Roth

Roth is known for other horror films such as Cabin Fever, Hostel I & II, The Green Inferno, Knock Knock, Death Wish, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, and the Fin shark doc.
