Exclusive: Harold Perrineau talks Season 2 of MGM+ horror series ‘From’

Premiering Sunday, April 23rd on MGM+ is the second season of the horror series From, starring Harold Perrineau. The ensemble cast also includes Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Elizabeth Moy and Avery Konrad.

New series regulars joining Season Two include Scott McCord, Nathan D. Simmons, Kaelen Ohm, Angela Moore, AJ Simmons and Deborah Grover.

FROM unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. In season two, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers. Perrineau stars as Boyd Stevens, the sheriff and de facto mayor of the township.

Perrineau is a veteran of many characters from TV shows and films including Michael Dawson in the ABC’s Lost, Augustus Hill in HBO’s Oz, Sheriff Boyd Stevens in From, and Murch in The Best Man: The Final Chapters. Other TV credits include Sons of Anarchy, Constantine, Claws, and The Rookie.

His notable film credits include Smoke, Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet, The Best Man, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Smoke, The Edge, 28 Weeks Later, Zero Dark Thirty, and The Best Man Holiday.
