Exclusive: Jak Knight And Sam Jay talk Peacock’s Bust Down

Coming to Peacock on March 10 is the new comedy series BUST DOWN.

In BUST DOWN, four casino employees in a dead-end job in middle America attempt to find self-worth in their bad ideas

Executive produced by Lorne Michaels, ensemble comedy BUST DOWN has been ordered to series starring Sam Jay (PAUSE with Sam Jay), Chris Redd (SNL, Kenan), Langston Kerman (Insecure, The Boys), and Jak Knight (Big Mouth, Black-ish).

BUST DOWN is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Broadway Video. Lorne Michaels will executive produce, and Andrew Singer and Hilary Marx also serve as executive producers. Richie Keen will direct. Guy Stodel serves as co-executive producer, and Adrian Finkel will produce.

Jak Knight is a stand-up comedian, writer, and voice actor. He is a writer and consulting producer on Big Mouth as well as the voice actor of DeVon. He also appeared in the Netflix’s comedy series The Comedy Line-Up.

Sam Jay is a staff writer for Saturday Night Live and has performed stand-up on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents and The Comedy Line-Up. Jay's first hour long comedy special, 3 in the Morning, was released on Netflix in 2020.
