Exclusive: Jared Leto on playing Morbius and getting into character
Coming to theaters this week from Sony Pictures and Marvel is Morbius, directed by Daniel Espinosa and starring Jared Leto, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson.
One of the most compelling and conflicted characters in Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. For Leto, who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club and has had incredible roles in Suicide Squad, Blade Runner 2049, The Little Things and more recently, House of Gucci.
