Exclusive: Joe Locke talks Marvel TV's Agatha All Along, playing Teen and working with Kathryn Hahn

Now playing on Disney+ is Marvel Television’s “Agatha All Along,” which stars Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, with Debra Jo Rupp, with Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza.

In “Agatha All Along,” the infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road

Locke plays Teen, a gay familiar with a dark sense of humor who acts as the assistant to Agatha's coven. Within the script, Locke's character was only referred to as "Teen", which becomes a joke within the series, as that is what the other characters call him and he responds to; the other characters are unable to perceive his name or any identifying information about him because of a sigil hex placed upon him.

The executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos and Jac Schaeffer, who is also head writer. The directors for the series include Jac Schaeffer, Rachel Goldberg and Gandja Monteiro.

Locke is best known for his lead role as high school student Charlie Spring in the Netflix teen series Heartstopper (2022–present),
