Exclusive: Jonica Booth talks HBO Max's Rap Sh!t and playing The Duke of Miami

Recently concluding its eight-episode first season on HBO Max is its Original comedy series RAP SH!T, from Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Issa Rae. The cast includes Aida Osman, KaMillion, Jonica Booth, Devon Terrell and RJ Cyler.

RAP SH!T follows two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna (Aida Osman) and Mia (KaMillion), who reunite to form a rap group.

Booth plays Chastity, a party promoter who goes by "The Duke of Miami" or simply "Duke." She also manages a group of sex workers. Prior to the series, Booth was a regular cast member during Season 12 of Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club.
