Exclusive: Karen Pittman talks Season 2 of The Morning Show and her character Mia Jordan

Currently playing on AppleTV+ is its award-winning Apple Original drama series,“The Morning Show.” Starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the 10-episode second season has a star-studded returning cast for season two that includes Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin and Marcia Gay Harden.

Picking up after the explosive events of season one, season two finds “The Morning Show" team emerging from the wreckage of Alex (Aniston) and Bradley’s (Witherspoon) actions, to a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything and the chasm between who we present as and who we really are comes into play.

Pittman is having a ball of a time on television. Not only is she reprising her role as station manager/ producer Mia Jordan on The Morning Show, but she will be back as businesswoman Willa Hays for the fourth season of the Kevin Costner series Yellowstone on Paramount+. She also just signed on to appear in the Sex and the City follow-up series And Just Like That, where she will portray Dr. Nya Wallace, a brilliant, challenging Columbia Law professor.

BlackFilmandTV.com’s Wilson Morales recently caught up with Pittman where she discusses her role as Mia Jordan.
