Exclusive: Logan Browning & John Patrick Amedori talk Dear White People Vol 4: The Final Season

Now playing on Netflix is the fourth and final season for Dear White People Vol 4: The Final Season, which premiered on Wednesday, Sept. 22.

Adapted from the 2014 film of the same name by acclaimed creator Justin Simien, Dear White People follows a group of socially conscience Black students navigating cultural biases, misguided activism and injustice on their predominately white Ivy league campus. The series stars Logan Browning, Brandon P. Bell, Antoinette Robertson, DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori, Ashley Blaine Featherson and Marque Richardson.

Set against the backdrop of senior year at Winchester as well as a not-so-distant, post-pandemic future, Dear White People Vol. 4 finds our characters looking back at the most formative (and theatrical) year of their lives. Both an Afro-futuristic and 90s-inspired musical event, Dear White People Vol. 4 is a can't-miss, farewell experience with one pitch-perfect promise: sometimes the only way to move forward is to throw it back

'Dear White People' season finale is here but it's ending with a bang. Season 4 is a musical spotlighting the cast's senior year as they sort through their final steps before graduation. In speaking with BlackFilmandTV.com correspondent Danteé Ramos, Logan Browning (Samantha White) shares how she practices the art of letting go and if she views her character Sam as successful or unsuccessful as the show closes. John Patrick Amedori (Gabe) opens about the polarity of his character Gabe and just how important it is to stay true to yourself.
