Exclusive: M. Night Shyamalan, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge talk Knock at the Cabin

Hitting theaters this week from Universal Pictures and visionary filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan is the horror thriller Knock at the Cabin starring Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn and Rupert Grint.

While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.

The film is directed by M. Night Shyamalan and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, Marc Bienstock (SplitGlass) and Ashwin Rajan.

Groff, an Emmy and two-time Tony Award nominee, is best known for his starring role in David Fincher’s Netflix series Mindhunter. He most recently co-starred opposite Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in The Matrix Resurrections and is known as the voice of Kristoff and Sven in Disney’s Frozen and Frozen II. Groff also originated the role of King George III in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Pulitzer-winning Broadway smash Hamilton.

Aldridge recently starred in the series Pennyworth, based on the Batman DC Comics. On the film side, Aldridge will star alongside Jim Parsons in Focus Features’ Spoiler Alert, a film adaptation of the bestselling memoir by Michael Ausiello.
