Exclusive: Marvel's Dominique Thorne on promoting Puffs Power at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

For a lot of actors who have played heroes on the big or small screen, whether it’s a Marvel or DC film/ series, or in action films/ shows, doing the work off-camera is another level of work. It requires compassion, dedication and a will to help others. For Dominique Thorne, who was recently seen in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as RiRi Williams and will soon headline her series on Disney+ with Marvel’s Iron Heart, the Cornell alum is showcasing her heroism on a different platform.

Puffs Power Pals are back this Cold and Flu season and is partnering with Thorne, who will be surprising deserving children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Dominique and Puffs will be surprising the patients and officially inducting them into the Puffs Power Pals troupe – an elite group of young yet mighty superheroes on a mission to wipe away sore, red noses with the soothing softness of Puffs. Each child will receive their very own personalized Puffs Plus Lotion tissue box and comic book cover, along other soft touches every hero deserves.

Blackfilmandtv.com’s Wilson Morales caught up with Thorne as she spoke about her involvement with Puffs, giving back to the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, being in Marvel’s projects and working with Angela Bassett.
