Exclusive: Milan Carter talks Netflix series Fubar and working with Arnold Schwarzenegger
Now playing on Netflix is the series Fubar, starring and executive produced by Arnold Schwarzeneggar.
The cast also includes Monica Barbaro, Fortune Feimster, Milan Carter, Jay Baruchel, Travis Van Winkle, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, Gabriel Luna, Barbara Eve Harris, and Fabiana Udenio.
When father Luke Brunner and daughter Emma Brunner learn that they’ve each secretly been working as CIA Operatives for years, they realize their entire relationship has been a lie and they truly don’t know one another at all. Forced to team up as partners, the series tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action and humor.
Carter plays Barry, a loveable man-child and proud nerd, who is an American CIA officer that has worked closely with Luke for the past 20 years. Barry is a kind and brilliant officer who keeps Luke and his team safe while staying far away from the action.
For the West Philadelphia native who spent three years behind the camera for Entertainment Tonight, HipHollywood, and Kevin Frazier Productions, this is the biggest role for Milan. He made his television debut with a role in Marvel’s “Runaways” and in 2019 made his feature film debut in Eddie Murphy’s “Dolemite Is My Name.” He’s also appeared in CBS’s “The Neighborhood,” and the series “Warped!”
Blackfilmandtv.com’s Wilson Morales spoke with Milan on his character and working with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
