Exclusive: Moses Ingram On Playing Imperial Inquisitor Reva Sevander in Obi-Wan Kenobi & working with Hayden Christensen

Premiering on Disney+ this week is the highly anticipated limited series “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” starring stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader.

The series will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Friday, May 27, with the first two episodes. Following the premiere, the series will stream weekly on Wednesdays, until the finale on Wednesday, June 22.

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” is directed by Deborah Chow and executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor and Joby Harold.

In a short period of time, Ingram has made a name for herself on the big and small screen. For her performance in the Netflix miniseries The Queen's Gambit, Ingram was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. In 2021 she appeared as Lady Macduff opposite Denzel Washington and Corey Hawkins in The Tragedy of Macbeth and earlier this year, she was featured opposite Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in Michael Bay’s Ambulance.

In Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ingram will play Reva Sevander / the Third Sister, a ruthless, ambitious Inquisitor who shares a common goal with the Grand Inquisitor and Darth Vader.

Blackfilmandtv.com’s Wilson Morales spoke with Ingram about her role and working opposite Hayden Christensen, who returns to play Darth Vader.
