Exclusive: Nika King talks Euphoria Season 2 and playing Rue's mom, Leslie Bennett

Very recently, actress Nika King talked with Blacktreetv's Jamaal Finkley and Blackfilmandtv's Wilson Morales about her role as Leslie Bennett in Season 2 of HBO’s acclaimed hit series Euphoria, which stars Emmy Award winner Zendaya.

Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma and social media. Amidst the intertwining lives in the town of East Highland, 17-year-old Rue (Zendaya) must find hope while balancing the pressures of love, loss, and addiction.

The ensemble cast includes: actor and singer Zendaya, Maude Apatow , Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith and Sydney Sweeney.

King, best known for her roles on Greenleaf (2016) and Best Friends Whenever (2015) plays Rue and Gia's mom on the show, Leslie Bennett. When she’s not performing on TV, she also co-own Blue Tree Cafe, a virtual dining brand that opened in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in Summer of 2021. She’s also the Founder of Jeli Life, a community and business resource.
