For Mbatha, who plays Mirembe, this is a breakout role for the South African actress. Having starred in films such as Tell Me Sweet Something, The Jakes Are Missing and All About Love, and hosting the reality travel show called Holiday Swap, she’s also had several ambassador appointments by renowned brands. Besides acting, she’s hosted and served as a presenter. She was also among the 10 hosts selected by Global Citizen to be the face and voice of its first installment on the African continent, in honor of Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday.

BlackFilmandTV.com’s Wilson Morales recently spoke with Mbatha as she spoke about her role and working alongside Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall and the rest of the cast.
