Exclusive: Paige Audrey-Marie Hurd and Lawrence Saint-Victor talk BET+ film The Accused

Now playing on BET+ is the Original Movie “The Accused” Starring Paige Audrey-Marie & Lawrence Saint-Victor. Directed by Tony Glazer, the cast also includes Crystal Lee Brown, Summer Crockett Moore, Nicole G. Leier, Manny Perez, Robert Christopher Riley and Rockmond Dunbar.

Premiering Thursday, April 10th, exclusively on BET+., this gripping thriller delivers intense action, high stakes, and a race against time that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

When a brilliant plant geneticist is framed for her fiancé’s murder, she must go on the run, relying on her intelligence and physical prowess to expose the truth and clear her name before time runs out.

Produced by Pierre Romain, Julie Solinger, Tony Glazer, and Summer Crocket Moore, the film’s score was composed by Harvey Davis with music by MC Lyte.

Hurd, last seen in Power Book II: Ghost, plays Dani West, a brilliant and dedicated plant geneticist who works tirelessly to improve the lives of patients through her research. She has a strong sense of justice and integrity, which is tested when she is framed for her fiancé’s murder.

Victor, best known for his role as Carter on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful, and plays Det. Lance Branson, a dedicated and hard-working police detective. Lance balances his demanding career with the responsibilities of being a husband and father-to-be. He is a man of integrity, deeply committed to justice, and often goes above and beyond in his investigations.
