Exclusive: Producer/ Actor Tory Kittles talks new thriller Among The Beasts
Hitting select US theaters + on VOD from Gravitas Ventures starting February 10th, 2023 is the crime thriller Among The Beasts, directed by Matthew Newton and starring Tory Kittles, Libe Barer, Sarunas J. Jackson, Kate Easton, Jeremy Holm, Mark Mitton, with Jon Bass, and Jim Norton.
When a gangster's daughter reluctantly teams with a former Marine (Tory Kittles) to find her kidnapped cousin, the combat veteran must overcome his own demons in order to rescue the child from their violent clutches.
The film was produced by Jason Seagraves, Matthew Newton, Ally Beans, and Tory Kittles.
For Kittles, who can also be seen currently playing Det. Marcus Dante opposite Queen Latifah’s Robyn McCall in the CBS drama series The Equalizer, the film puts him in the lead role for a change. His notable film credits include Tigerland, Get Rich or Die Tryin', Miracle at St. Anna, The Kill Hole, Steel Magnolias, Bessie, Harriet, and Those Who Wish Me Dead. Kittles is most recognized for TV roles, including playing Laroy Wayne in FX’s “Sons of Anarchy,” Detective Thomas Papania in HBO’s “True Detective,” and Eric Broussard in USA’s “Colony.”
