Exclusive: Rachel Griffiths talks The Wilds Season 2
Now playing on Prime Video is the second season of its thrilling YA series, The Wilds, where the girls remain trapped on a mysterious island, as well as the boy castaways who join this dystopian slumber party.
Season two of The Wilds will continue to follow the harrowing ordeal of a group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island, and they didn’t end up there by accident—they’ve secretly been recruited into an elaborate social experiment. The new season ratchets up the drama by revealing that the girls aren’t the only ones being studied… there’s a new set of subjects, an island of teenage boys, who must also fight for survival under the watchful eye of the experiment’s puppet master.
Coming back are Sarah Pidgeon (Leah), Sophia Ali (Fatin), Jenna Clause (Martha), Reign Edwards (Rachel), Mia Healey (Shelby), Shannon Berry (Dot), Helena Howard (Nora) and Erana James (Toni). New cast members include Zack Calderon, Aidan Laprete, Nicholas Coombe, Charles Alexander, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Reed Shannon, Tanner Ray Rook and Alex Fitzalan, who make up 'The Twilight Of Adam' group. Rachel Griffiths also returns as Gretchen Klein, the head of the Dawn of Eve and Twilight of Adam programs.
No stranger to television, Griffiths is best known from her role as Brenda Chenowith in HBO’s Six Feet Under as well as Sarah Walker Laurent on the ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, both of which garnered her Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Film credits include Muriel’s Wedding, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Hilary and Jackie, Blow and Hacksaw Ridge.
