Exclusive: Saint X cast interviews with West Duchovny, Josh Bonzie, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Jayden Elijah and more
Currently playing on Hulu is the Original drama series "Saint X" based on Alexis Schaitkin's novel starring Alycia Debnam-Carey, Josh Bonzie, Jayden Elijah, West Duchovny, Betsy Brandt, and Michael Park.
The series, which is told via multiple timelines, explores, and upends the girl gone-missing genre as it explores how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.
Bonzie plays Clive ‘Gogo’ Richardson’ who we meet as a shy and clumsy but warm-hearted 20-year old, and again decades later as a hardened, changed man. Bonzie most recently guest-starred as Randal on Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series The Politician and was seen in a recurring role on The Good Fight.
Elijah plays Edwin, a handsome and magnetically charming employee at the island’s resort who immediately captures Alison’s (Duchovny) attention. He harbors a healthy distrust of the rich white people he’s paid to serve and dreams of one day leaving the island for New York. Elijah’s credits include Oliver Milburn’s feature School’s Out Forever and UK comedy series Hank Zipzer.
Leila Gerstein ("Mrs. America," "The Handmaid’s Tale," "Hart of Dixie") wrote and executive produce swith Dee Rees directing and executive producing the first episode. Stephen Williams also executive produces with David Levine and Zack Hayden for Anonymous Content, Aubrey Graham aka Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, and Jason Shrier for DreamCrew Entertainment, Alexis Schaitkin, and Steve Pearlman.
