When she fails to meet an item on his list of requirements for a bride, Julia Thistlewaite (Zawe Ashton) is jilted by London’s most eligible bachelor, Mr. Malcolm (Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù). Feeling humiliated and determined to exact revenge, she convinces her friend Selina Dalton (Freida Pinto) to play the role of his ideal match. Soon, Mr. Malcolm wonders whether he’s found the perfect woman...or the perfect hoax.

Both Pinto and Dìrísù starred in the 2018 short film before getting funding to turn it into a full length feature film.

Dirisu is blazing on the big and small screen with incredible roles such as Elliot Finch in the Sky Atlantic series Gangs of London, and the horror thriller His House opposite Wunmi Mosaku. His other film credits include Criminal, The Huntsman: Winter's War, and Sand Castle.

Best known for her role in Slumdog Millionaire, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture, Pinto’s other notable film roles have included Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Knight of Cups, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, Hillbilly Elegy, and more recently Needle in a Timestack.
