Exclusive: Tom Holland on bartending, working with Mark Wahlberg, and filming Uncharted during the pandemic
Hitting theaters this week from Sony is the action adventure film Uncharted, directed by Zombieland and Venom director Ruben Fleischer and starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. The film has a theatrical release on February 18, 2022.
Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Sony Pictures' Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.
Based on the PlayStation video game by Naughty Dog, the film will also feature Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle. Produced by Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner, and Ari Arad.
For Holland, who’s coming off the wildly successful Spider-Man: No way Home in the midst of the pandemic, he’s ready to take another high swinging fun filled film that will bring in audience from the video game world and seeing their favorite game adapted to the big screen. In speaking with Blackfilmandtv, com’s Wilson Morales, Holland goes over bartending, working with Mark Wahlberg, and filming Uncharted during the pandemic.
