Exclusive: Toni Collette, Nicholas Hoult talk Clint Eastwood’s Juror #2
Now playing in select theaters is Juror #2, directed by Clint Eastwood, and starring Nicolas Hoult, Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons, Chris Messina, Zoey Deutch, Cedric Yarbrough, Kiefer Sutherland, Leslie Bibb, Gabriel Basso, Amy Aquino, Adrienne C. Moore, Raval Davis and Francesca Eastwood.
Eastwood's Juror #2 follows family man Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult) who, while serving as a juror in a high profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma…one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict—or free—the accused killer.
Produced by Clint Eastwood, Adam Goodman, Jessica Meier, Tim Moore, Peter Oberth, and Matt Skiena. Clint Eastwood's creative team includes many of his frequent collaborators: cinematographer Yves Bélanger, production designer Ron Reiss, Oscar-winning editor Joel Cox with editor David Cox, costume designer Deborah Hopper, and composer Mark Mancina.
For Hoult, he did three season of Hulu’s The Great, which earned him an Emmy nom after the second season. He was also seen in Searchlight’s The Menu, in the scene-stealing role as the boyfriend of Anya Taylor-Joy. He will next be seen in Justin Kurzel’s The Order opposite Jude Law and and in Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu.
Collette recently lent her voice to the animated film Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken and starred in the black comedy Mafia Mamma. She also starred in the Prime Video series The Power and the HBO miniseries The Staircase. She will next be seen in Bong Joon-ho’s sci-fi black comedy Mickey 17.
