Christine Swanson’s Albany Road wins Best Feature at 2024 Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival; Hits Theaters Nov. 15

Congrats to writer-director Christine Swanson, whose film Albany Road won Best Feature at the 2024 Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival. Starring Renée Elise Goldsberry and Lynn Whitfield, the film will hit theaters on November 15.

Produced by Michael Swanson, the cast also includes J. Alphonse Nicholson, Lisa Arrindell, Rachel Nicks, Gary Dourdan and Joe Holt.

On her way to the most important meeting of her career, severe weather forces a New York executive to share a rental car with her former nemesis, her ex-fiancé’s mother, only to discover that the mother is hiding a major secret and to the executive’s dismay, she’s the only one who knows.
