Candace Maxwell, Ace Tucker, Heiress Harris joins Tristan Mack Wilds In BET+ Romance ‘The Day Before Christmas’
Candace Maxwell is paired opposite Tristan Mack Wilds in the romantic film The Day Before Christmas, which will premiere on BET+ later this year.
Directed by Jerry LaMothe, the cast also includes Towanda Braxton, Palmer Williams Jr., Ace Tucker, Heiress Harris, Joyce Glenn, Trell Woodberry, Perri Camper, and Ashley Forrestier.
Written by Trell Woodberry, with Perri Camper and Roger Bobb serving as producers, the film follows two single parents who, after mixing up their phones and their children’s backpacks, must take turns covering for each other on a very busy Christmas Eve — inadvertently causing them to get to know one another better and fall in love along the way.
Known for her role as "Dime" in the BET+ drama series, All The Queens Men, Maxwell has also appeared on Starz’s Power, Netflix's Insatiable and the CW's Katy Keene. Her film roles have included Tyler Perry's A Madea Homecoming, Imposters, and The Christmas Clapback.
LaMothe recently served as director of ALLBLK’s anthology series Terror Lake Drive, which ran for three seasons. He also directed A Sisterly Christmas, The Christmas Swap, Blackout and Amour Infinity.
