Brooklyn-born filmmaker Jerry LaMothe boasts a steady career of both commercial (Nora’s Hair Salon; Blackout) and personal (The Tombs) projects, and it all began 20 years ago with his self-made feature film debut, and film festival hit, AMOUR INFINITY.

In the slice-of-life film, Derek (played by LaMothe), a well-meaning East Flatbush man, is trying to battle unemployment, and single-fatherhood, after the untimely abandonment of his child’s mother. At wits end, he encounters high-school friend Amour (Jamie Burton-Oare), and new love begins to take shape. But as he attempts to prioritize fatherhood, love, loyalty, and a secret, what will each cost him?

The cast included Jerry LaMothe, Jamie Burton-Oare, Hassan Johnson, Tammi Katherine Jones, and Jas Anderson.

Jerry will also discuss his upcoming debut television limited series, “Terror Lake Drive” which premieres this Fall on UMC’s streaming service. The highly anticipated show stars Malik Yoba, Shannon Kane, Lamaan Rucker, and Donielle T. Hansley.
