DJ Spinderella Spins Aboard Circle Line's Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary Dance Party

Last night, in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop which originated on August 11, 1973, Circle Line threw the ultimate summer party, featuring special guest DJ Spinderella. Famously associated with Salt-N-Pepa, she who played the biggest hits from legendary Missy Elliott as a tribute to the Hip Hop queen. During the 2-hour cruise, Byron Freeman from B. Free Dance taught guests some of the most famous routines from the Supa Dupa Fly album. 

For this event, Circle Line partnered with the Universal Hip Hop Museum, a museum dedicated to the celebration and preservation of Hip Hop music, dance, art, and culture and a permanent place to celebrate the music that has made the Bronx famous worldwide. 50% of the ticket sales revenue will be donated to the museum to support the institution's incredible contributions and in honor of Hip Hop's anniversary.
