Exclusive: Newcomer Stakiah Washington Joins The Chi’s Barton Fitzpatrick In Director Stack Moses’ Indie Film“Everything is Both''
Endure Films & Media are set for their feature film “Everything is Both '' which stars newcomer Stakiah Washington, who is known for her theatre background on Broadway for The August Wilson monologue competition, is making her first feature debut. Starring next to Washington are Barton Fitzpatrick (THE CHI) who just finished the lead role in Vertical Entertainment’s new feature WHITE PEOPLE MONEY. Also co-starring next to Fitzpatrick and Washington is Jason Mitchell, star of (KONG: Skull Island and Straight out of Compton) and who most recent film A24’s ZOLA, made a big splash at the 2019 Sundance film festival.
The film tells the story of a young lady (Dysha) played by Washington, who finds herself on the run and depending on the mysterious stranger by her side to escape danger and pull off the biggest score of her life.
The film is currently in production now in Dallas, Texas
Making his feature debut is director Stack Moses, Moses is widely known for his background in music video directing for such artists as French Montana and Outkast’s Bigboi. The feature script was inspired by a short story written by JaQuavis Coleman, a phenom in the urban-fiction literary world, he’s teamed with his wife Ashley Coleman and together they have published over 40 novels and have been featured in publications such as Essence, Vibe and New York Times.
Executive producing the film are former NBA player Ekpe Udoh (Utah, Jazz) JaQuavis Coleman and Jason Mitchell. .
