First Clip From Marvel’s Black Widow
During the 2021 MTV Movie Awards, Marvel Studios released a new Black Widow clip titled “You Got A Plan.” Starring the return of Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff in a prequel story, the film is directed by Cate Shortland (Lore) from a script written by Jac Schaeffer. “Black Widow” Launches July 9 in Theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access.
Black Widow will also feature a star-studded cast including Golden Globe nominee David Harbour (Stranger Things, Hellboy) as Alexei aka The Red Guardian, Florence Pugh (Fighting with My Family) as Yelena Belova, Academy Award-winning actress Rachel Weisz (The Favourite) as Melina and O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale) as Mason.
Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. The film is primarily set in the year gap between ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ as Romanoff is on the run whilst dealing with some old business from her pre-SHIELD days she was a KGB-trained spy and assassin.
