Lionsgate to release Den Of Thieves 2 aka Den of Thieves: Pantera on January 10, 2025
Lionsgate has announced that the long awaited sequel to Den of Thieves, titled Den of Thieves: Pantera will be release in theaters on January 10, 2025.
Released in 2018, the first Den of Thieves is directed by Christian Gudegast and starred Gerard Butler as "Big Nick" O'Brien, the leader of an LA County Sheriff's Department task force tracking an elite squad of bank robbers.
Gudegast returns to helm the sequel, with Butler and O'Shea Jackson Jr. reprising their roles from the first film.
In Den of Thieves: Pantera , Big Nick (Butler) is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie (Jackson), who is embroiled in the treacherous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a massive heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange.
Den of Thieves was also a box office success, grossing $80.5 million on a budget of around $30 million.
Producers are Tucker Tooley, Butler, Alan Siegel and Mark Canton. EPs are Greg Renker, Gregoire Gensollen, Christian Parent, Marc Schaberg, Zev Foreman, Jen Gorton, Christian Gudegast, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Meadow Williams, Swen Temmel, Philip Waley and Glenn Feig.
