NFL superstar Reggie Bush partners with Believe Entertainment on documentary film

Believe Entertainment Group and NFL superstar Reggie Bush today announced a partnership for an upcoming documentary film detailing the incredible untold story that led to Bush being erased from the NCAA record books and the heartbreaking loss of his Heisman Trophy. Kirk Fraser (ESPN’s 30 for 30: Without Bias) is set to direct.

“Providing Reggie with the opportunity to tell his story, in his words and reclaim his legacy is a parable greater than this one man,” said Fraser. “The heart of this story will explore one of the most infamous controversies in college football history and reveal the ongoing contentious culture inside collegiate sports.”

Super Bowl champion Bush, is still considered by many to be one of the greatest running backs in college football history, having led USC to multiple national championships, setting rushing and scoring records along the way, culminating in the greatest honor bestowed in college sports by winning the Heisman Trophy in 2005. Bush and his family were later accused of breaking NCAA regulations, resulting in massive sanctions for USC’s football program, the removal of all his records and finally, after succumbing to external pressures, the forfeiting of his Heisman Trophy.

“After all these years I’m finally ready to tell my story, I hope this can help drive change with the next generation of student athletes,” said Bush. “We’re making some progress, but there’s still a long way to go.”
