Paramount Reveals New Title For Transformers 7 - Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
Paramount Pictures has released the new title for the upcoming Transformers film today during a virtual event with producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, director Steven Caple Jr., along with stars Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback. The new title is Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
Paramount also confirmed plot details during the big production kickoff event. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will hit theaters on June 24, 2022.
Returning to the action and spectacle that first captured moviegoers around the world 14 years ago with the original Transformers, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.
Ramos plays an ex-military man named Noah, while Fishback plays Elena, a museum artifact researcher.
The film comes to us from Paramount Pictures, Skydance and Bay Films in association with Hasbro and New Republic Pictures. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is a Don Murphy/Tom DeSanto production and a di Bonaventura Pictures production.
The film is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Brian Goldner, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Brian Oliver, Bradley J. Fischer and Valerii An. It’s produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto & Don Murphy, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian and Duncan Henderson.
Anthony Ramos is known for his work on Broadway and has appeared in the films Monsters and Men, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, A Star is Born, Honest Thief, Hamilton and most recently In the Heights. Fishback played Deborah Johnson in Judas and the Black Messiah opposite Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya, and has appeared in The Hate You Give, Power Project and Night Comes On.
