Production Starts On Rhyan LaMarr’s Bromance Pic ‘North Of The 10’
Red Guerrilla Entertainment has begun principal photography on the international bromantic comedy “North Of The 10”, shooting in Chicago and the UAE. The film, set in 2007 during the rise of social media, tells the story of five friends struggling to succeed in Chicago’s entertainment industry while one of them pursues an international romance with a wealthy young heiress.

North of the 10 tells the story of five friends that chase Hollywood dreams from the south side of Chicago and become the first generation of viral video stars in the dramatic comedy North of the 10. Cam Weston, a wannabe model, lives with his best friends — an actor, chef, dancer, and gamer — as they strive for success in Chicago’s entertainment industry.
They just might get there when Cam meets Nefertari, the daughter of a wealthy family from the United Arab Emirates, and falls in love. The problem? She thinks Cam’s a famous supermodel. Now Cam’s got to actually become one before she finds out that he’s just another poor, broke dreamer.
North of the 10 sees five struggling friends grow their own social media empire through the relatability of their friendship. It’s a hangout movie about creative people trying to make it on their own, finding strength in unity, and inviting the world to join them."
Written by Adam G. Key, Jon Knitter and Rhyan LaMarr and produced by Red Guerilla partners Christopher Jennings, Erika Jacobsen and Andre Burgess, the production also features some of today’s social media giants and breakout stars Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, Adam Waheed, Jeremih, Noor Stars, Barton Fitzpatrick, Beau "Casper" Smart, LaRoyce Hawkins, Ta'rhonda Jones and Noor Stars.
The film is executive produced by Bishop Eric Garnes. “We’re telling a story inspired by the first generation of influencers,” says Garnes, “and so we cast the all-stars of the internet from around the world. So anywhere in the world, our cast has fans ready to see them together on the big screen. It's time we see these juggernauts for what they are, moguls moving with influence.”
Heading up the UAE production team is Elijah Long (“Rambo” franchise and “Tesla”), Sonal Vara-Parmaro, and Qais Qandil (The Misfits). Don Benjamin will executive produce and JALENE Mack will produce.
