SDCC 2024: New Poster & Clip for The Crow
Lionsgate has released new exclusive posters of The Crow to fans and attendees during San Diego Comic Con. Bill Skarsgård takes on the iconic role of Eric Draven aka The Crow in this modern reimagining of the original story.
Directed by English filmmaker Rupert Sanders, the cast includes FKA Twigs as Shelly, along with Isabella Wei, Danny Huston, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila, and Jordan Bolger. Lionsgate will release Sanders' The Crow in theaters nationwide starting August 23.
"Death is just the beginning..." Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.
The screenplay is written by Zach Baylin and Will Schneider. Based on The Crow comic book series written by James O'Barr. Produced by Edward R. Pressman, Samuel Hadida, Victor Hadida, Molly Hassell, & John Jencks.
