The 2021 Chelsea Film Festival announces Jury Committee

The Chelsea Film Festival announces today the 9th Annual Jury presided by Oscar-winning Playwright, Screenwriter and Director John Patrick Shanley (Doubt, Moonstruck, Prodigal Son). The Jury is composed of Oscar-nominated Producer Sofia Sondervan (Cadillac Records, The Letter Room), International Actress Meryem Uzerli (Kovan ,The Magnificent Century), Veteran Executive Producer Amy J. Kaufman (Billions, When They See Us) and Oscar-nominated Director Tomer Shushan (White Eye, A Sight).

The festival will be taking place from October 14-17 at Regal Union Square and online. This will be the first-ever hybrid edition. 

CFF was founded by actresses Ingrid & Sonia Jean-Baptiste to give voice to the unheard by providing a platform to independent films and discovering new talents.

Chelsea Film Festival Board of Directors consists of renowned industry insiders: Paul Calderon, Elizabeth Kemp, and John Patrick Shanley.

The Advisory Board includes: Adi Katz-Stein, Bruno Chatelin, Georges Leclere, Kiki Lambden-Stout Jeff Bandman, Pascal Chemin, Michel Abramowicz, Michael Ruotolo, Pascal Bonifay, Patrick Braoudé, Patrick Timsit, Ron Agam, Stephen Stout, Thandeka Zwana, Thembi Mtshali-Jones, Wissam Chahine and more.

The Chelsea Film Festival program highlights local & international feature-length, short films, documentaries and virtual reality from independent or emerging filmmakers.
