TIFF 2020 Film Selections Includes Regina King’s ‘One Night In Miami’ & Sam Pollard’s Doc ‘MLK/ FBI’
The Toronto International Film Festival announced the feature film lineup for this year’s edition today and among the films are Regina King’s One Night In Miami, Reinaldo Marcus Green’s Good Joe Bell, Ephraim Asili’s The Inheritance, and Sam Pollard’s doc ‘MLK/ FBI.’ Previously announced were Halle Berry’s directorial debut ‘Bruised’ and Concrete Cowboys starring Idris Elba. Also announced was Spike Lee’s directed version of David Byrne’s American Utopia, which will serve as the Opening Night film.
The 45th Toronto International Film Festival runs September 10–19, 2020.
“TIFF 2020 is a special edition and symbolizes what is possible when collaboration, ingenuity, and passion take centre stage,” said Joana Vicente, Executive Director and Co-Head of TIFF. “It’s also a time for us to celebrate and affirm some of the founding values of TIFF, including the power film has to propel us forward as a society and present a diversity of voices. I’m proud and excited to share these films with audiences.”
