Official Trailer & Key Art To Netflix’s ‘Hit And Run’ with Sanaa Lathan
Netflix has released the official trailer and key art to its upcoming action series Hit and Run, starring Fauda’s Lior Raz, who is also its co-creator and executive producer. He is joined in the cast by The Affair’s Sanaa Lathan as the female lead, as well as fellow series regulars Kaelen Ohm (Queen of Spades), Moran Rosenblatt (Fauda), and Gregg Henry (Scandal), while Gal Toren (Para Aduma) guest stars. The series will premiere on August 6.
Hit and Run centers on a happily married man, played by Fauda star Raz, whose life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a mysterious hit and run accident in Tel Aviv. Grief-stricken and confused, the former Special Forces soldier searches for his wife’s killers, who have fled to the U.S. With the help of an ex-lover, Naomi Hicks (Lathan), he uncovers disturbing truths about his beloved wife and the secrets she kept from him.
The show was created and written by Raz and Avi Issacharoff, the co-creators and exec producers of Netflix series Fauda, and Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin, creators of the Amazon comedy Z: The Beginning of Everything. Mike Barker (The Handmaid’s Tale) directs five episodes, including the pilot.
