Official Trailer To Trans Romance Drama ‘Port Authority’
Momentum Pictures has released the official trailer to the trans romance drama Port Authority, starring Sports Illustrated model Leyna Bloom (Fluidity) and Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk). Written and directed by Danielle Lessovitz and executive produced by Martin Scorsese, the film hits theaters on May 28, 2021, followed by On Demand and Digital on June 1, 2021.
After getting kicked out of his home in central Pennsylvania, Paul (Fionn Whitehead) arrives to NYC’s dizzying central station with nowhere to go. A momentary encounter with Wye (Leyna Bloom), a trans woman of color, leads him to seek her out. Transfixed by her beauty and confidence, a love soon blossoms. But as the two learn more about each other, Paul’s false narratives begin to surface and the double life he lives must be reconciled.
This is Bloom’s feature debut. The popular transgender model has made history by appearing on the cover of Vogue India and has worked with H&M, Moschino, Tommy Hilfiger and more. She’s set to appear in the 2021 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue as the first openly transgender Black and Asian-American model in the magazine.
