Teaser Trailer To Apple Limited Series ‘Five Days at Memorial’
Apple TV+ has released a first-look teaser at highly anticipated limited series "Five Days at Memorial," based on the book of the same name.
The new series from John Ridley and Carlton Cuse, and adapted from the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Sheri Fink, is set to premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on Friday, August 12, 2022, followed by new episodes weekly every Friday through September 16, 2022.
Hailing from Academy Award winner John Ridley ("The Other History of the DC Universe," "Let It Fall: Los Angeles 1982-1992") and Emmy Award winner Carlton Cuse ("Jack Ryan," "Lost"), and starring Emmy-award nominee Vera Farmiga, Robert Pine ("CHiPs"), and Emmy-award winner Cherry Jones ("Transparent", "Succession"), "Five Days at Memorial" is based on actual events chronicling the impact of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath on a local hospital. When the floodwaters rose, power failed, and heat soared, exhausted caregivers at a New Orleans hospital were forced to make decisions that would follow them for years to come.
The eight-episode limited series is executive produced and written by Cuse and Ridley, the series is directed by Cuse, Ridley and Wendey Stanzler ("For All Mankind," "Dispatches From Elsewhere") and stars Farmiga, Pine, Jones, Julie Ann Emery ("Better Call Saul," "Preacher"), Cornelius Smith Jr. ("Scandal," "Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker"), Adepero Oduye ("The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,""Pariah"), Molly Hager ("Happyish," "It's Kind of a Funny Story"), Michael Gaston ("Blindspot," "The Leftovers") and W.
