Trailer And Poster To BET+ Film ‘North of the 10’
BET+ has released the trailer and poster for North of the 10 from Director Rhyan LaMarr and starring Don Benjamin, Stephanie Nur, Tosin Morohunfola, DeStorm Power, Matt Rife, Wes "Wuz Good" Armstrong, Mykelti Williamson, Yancey Arias, and LaRoyce Hawkins. Written by Adam Key, Jon Knitter and Rhyan LaMarr, the series will be streaming on Feb. 10.
North of the 10 tells the story of five friends from the south side of Chicago that chase Hollywood dreams and become the first generation of viral video stars. Cam Weston (Don Benjamin), a wannabe model, lives with his best friends — an actor, chef, dancer, and gamer — as they strive for success in Chicago’s entertainment industry.
They just might get there when Cam meets and falls in love with Nefertari (Stephanie Nur), the daughter of a wealthy family from the United Arab Emirates. The problem? She thinks Cam’s a famous supermodel. Now, Cam’s got to actually become one before she finds out that he’s just another poor, broke dreamer.
North of the 10 sees five struggling friends grow their own social media empire through the relatability of their friendship. It’s a hangout movie about creative people trying to make it on their own, finding strength in unity and inviting the world to join them.
