Trailer to Jesus Revolution
Lionsgate has released the trailer to the drama film JESUS REVOLUTION, which hits theaters on February 24, 2023 (WIDE RELEASE). The film will have a special preview event on February 22, 2023.
JESUS REVOLUTION stars Joel Courtney (The Kissing Booth franchise), Jonathan Roumie (“The Chosen”), Kimberly Williams-Paisley (Father of the Bride), Anna Grace Barlow (“The Big Leap”), DeVon Franklin (Breakthrough) and Emmy® award winner Kelsey Grammer (“Frasier”). The film was co-directed by Jon Erwin (I Can Only Imagine) and Brent McCorkle (Unconditional) and co-written by Jon Gunn (American Underdog) & Jon Erwin.
The true story of a divided moment in time when people came together by checking their preconceptions at the door – and formed a movement by listening to each other, looking beyond their own beliefs. This revival of radical and newfound love led to what TIME Magazine, in 1971, dubbed a JESUS REVOLUTION.
In the 1970s, young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie), a charismatic hippie-street-preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer), they open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love, leading to what TIME Magazine dubbed a JESUS REVOLUTION.
