Anthony Mackie & Jamie Dornan to Reunite & Star in Heist Series ‘12 12 12’
Jeff Sneider from The InSneider recently reported that Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan will be the stars of '12 12 12,' a limited heist series from Kari Skogland.
Mackie and Dornan previously worked together on Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead’s time-travel narcotic sci-fi feature “Synchronic.”
Jim Keeble and Dudi Appleton reportedly wrote the script for the series, though plot details are under wraps beyond the heist aspect.
Skogland had previously directed episodes of several major television series, including House of Cards, The Walking Dead, and Marvel’s The Punisher. She previously worked with Mackie on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which she directed all six episodes of.
The series will reportedly be produced by David Ellison’s Skydance, alongside Mackie’s Make It With Gravy, Anonymous Content, and Inspire Entertainment.
Mackie recently starred in Peacock's “Twisted Metal,” which has been renewed for a second season. Dornan was most recently seen in Kenneth Branagh’s Poirot film “A Haunting in Venice” and the second season of “The Tourist” which will launch on Netflix in the U.S. on February 29th.
