Cast Set For Ripley Parker’s The F**k it Bucket

Here's the cast for Netflix's upcoming series The F**k it Bucket, written and created by Ripley Parker (Thandiwe Newton's daughter).

The cast includes Sophie Wilde, Lauryn Ajufo, Stephen Fry, Harry Cadby, Noah Thomas, Vivienne Acheampong, Alex Hassell. Sam Reuben, and Niamh McCormack.

When Mia Polanco (a 17-year-old London girl with more wits than is good for her) is released from hospital after a lengthy battle with anorexia, she is thrust back into the fizzingly chaotic world of sixth form. Only to find that her friends have been spending her recovery time acquiring knowledge and experiences she herself has never known. Suddenly confronted with the realization that her childhood is racing by without her, Mia decides the only way to catch up is to make a bucket list.

BIFA-nominated Boiling Point star Ajufo is playing Becca, one of her best friends along with Harry Cadby (Life After Life) and Noah Thomas (Anansi Boys). Vivienne Acheampong (The Sandman) is Mia’s mum Viv, Alex Hassell (Tragedy of Macbeth) is Mia’s dad Rick, Sam Reuben is Mia’s brother Alex and Niamh McCormack (The Witcher) is school friend Alison.

The eight-part series is a Left Bank Pictures production written by Ripley Parker. Execs for The F**ck it Bucket are Parker with Sian McWilliams and Andy Harries for Left Bank. Directors are Alyssa McClelland (Block 1), Charlie Manton (Block 2), Dionne Edwards (Block 3) and Laura Steinel (Block 4), and series producer is Huberta von Liel.
