Director Ogo Okpue’s Supernatural Horror Feature ‘A Song From The Dark’ Currently Playing On Prime Video

A Song from the Dark, a feature described as a supernatural horror from Nigerian-British production company Adverto Studios, is currently playing on Prime Video on July 12. The film will hit the streamer in the UK, North America, Canada, Australia and Africa.

The pic is directed by Ogo Okpue and marks his feature debut. The film has been on the festival circuit and screened at the American Black Film Festival and the Pan-African Film Festival.

The cast is led by Vanessa Vanderpuye, Nse Ikpe Etim, Wale Ojo and Garcia Brown. Also starring is Dimeji Ewuoso, Brielle Olaleye, Yinka Awoni, Lola Wayne, Sharon Oji, Paul Coster, Peace Oseyenum and Alex Scrivens. 

The synopsis reads: After the mysterious death of her husband, a woman hires a reluctant spirit hunter to expel an evil spirit tormenting her family. Unknown to the spirit hunter, the family has a dark secret they have sworn to keep hidden at all costs.
