Disney+ is taking the main character from its The Princess and the Frog film and making sequel series entitled Tiana.

Tiana, coming to the streamer in 2023, is a long-form musical-comedy series featuring the extraordinary entrepreneur who’s now princess of the kingdom of Maldonia. The all-new adventure explores both Maldonia and Tiana’s beloved hometown, New Orleans.

Tiana is the first princess to have her own Walt Disney Animation Studios series!

In addition to Rose, the cast for the film included Bruno Campos (Nip/Tuck, Royal Pains), Keith David, Michael-Leon Wooley, Jim Cummings, Jennifer Cody, John Goodman, Jenifer Lewis, Terence Howard and Oprah Winfrey.
