Lifetime’s Sins In The Suburbs To Air March 19

Premiering tonight March 19 at 8 p.m. ET. on Lifetime is the new original movie Sins In The Suburbs starring Monique Sypkens, Brandon Santana, Christopher Sky and Elizabeth Johnson.

The project tells the story of Heather (Sypkens), a struggling artist living in a quiet suburban neighborhood. All seems well until one day the good-looking and single Tyler (Santana) moves in next door. Heather is first intrigued by Tyler. He is charming, handsome, and seems quite successful. But as news of a local serial killer begins to spread and the number of victims rises, Heather begins to question if Tyler may somehow be involved.

This is Sypkens’ breakout role in a full-length film. From Sacramento, California, she has spent most of her life in the theater, honing her craft. Sypkens was also an educator of theatre and improv for 6 years in Los Angeles juvenile facilities, through the Unusual Suspect Theatre Company. She performed internationally to prevent sexual assualt in the military. You may have seen her in Snowfall (FX), Fauk My Life (RevryTV), and ads for Northface, Bowflex, Toyota, Merrell and McDonalds.

“Working on this film has been a dream come true”, says Sypkens. “This entire cast and crew was so special and I hope that will radiate off the screen.”

Brandon Santana will make his lead debut in this film as well. Santana has appeared in Home Economics (ABC) and Deadly Infidelity (Lifetime). This year you can also make appearances on Snowfall S5, Hacks S2, and Guest Starring on 9-1-1. “I think the energy from this film will really be enticing. Everyone collaborated beautifully to make this film an unforgettable movie experience.” Santana said.

In association with The Johnson Production Group, Sins in the Suburbs is produced by GoodForm with A.J. Kelly and Jacob Horn. Timothy O. Johnson and Joseph Wilka serve as executive producers. Sam Fichtner directs, with the script from John F. Hayes and David Ian McKendry.
