Marla Gibbs to Reunite with Former ‘227’ Co-Star Jackée Harry on ‘Days of our Lives’
It will be a “227” reunion on “Days of our Lives” when actress Marla Gibbs joins her former sitcom co-star Jackée Harry on the daytime drama series.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Gibbs will portray Olivia Price, the mother of Paulina (Harry) and grandmother to Chanel (Raven Bowens) beginning Tuesday, August 17.
Most famous for her portrayal as housekeeper Florence Johnson on “The Jeffersons,” Gibbs played Mary Jenkins on “227” alongside Harry from 1985-1990. She was honored with a star on the coveted Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, July 20.
