Nadej Bailey Set To Recur On Apple’s Kevin Durant Basketball Drama “Swagger”
Nadej Bailey (Life Sentence, Almost Christmas) is set to recur as Tamika Johnson in Swagger, Apple’s new basketball-themed drama series. The series is from NBA Superstar Kevin Durant, Reggie Rock Bythewood, Imagine Television Studios and CBS TV Studios.
Written and directed by Reggie Bythewood and starring O’shea Jackson, Quvenzhane Wallis & Caleel Harris, Swagger takes inspiration from the youth basketball experiences of Kevin Durant and explores the world of AAU basketball in the nation’s capital,and the players, their families and coaches who walk the fine line between dreams and ambition, and opportunism and corruption.
James Seidman will serve as the Imagine executive on Swagger; Sarah Flynn will serve as executive for Thirty Five Ventures. The drama is co-produced by Imagine TV Studios and CBS TV Studios.
Nadej most recently seen on the big screen alongside Taraji P Henson in the civil rights drama The Best of Enemies.
