Photos From Special Screening of THE HBO Documentary Film “A Choice of Weapons: Inspired by Gordon Parks”

On Wednesday, November 10, The Gordon Parks Foundation and MoMA hosted an intimate screening in New York for the upcoming HBO Documentary Film, “A Choice of Weapons: Inspired by Gordon Parks” at The Museum of Modern Art.

The film showcases the artists of today who draw inspiration from Gordon Parks as they too use their cameras to confront systemic inequities and celebrate their subjects.

Guests included Bryan Stevenson (Subject), LaToya Ruby Frazier (Subject), Devin Allen (Subject), Leslie Parks Bailey (Subject), Michal Raz-Russo (subject), John Maggio (Director), Peter W. Kunhardt Jr. (EP), Teddy Kunhardt (EP), Monica Berra (Producer), Danny Glover, Adgar Cowans, Aggie Gund, Charles Revson, Diana Revson, Barbara Gladstone, Laila Ali, Deb Willis, Marcus Samuelsson, Radcliffe Bailey and Sherry Bronfman who were treated to a screening of the powerful film that debuts November 15, 2021 at 10pm on HBO and HBO Max. The screening was followed by an inspiring conversation with subjects Bryan Stevenson and LaToya Ruby Frazier.
